Overview
This page explains when you get money back. Your statutory rights, in particular the right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee, remain unaffected.
Withdrawal within the First 14 Days
If you withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of concluding the contract, we refund the full amount paid for the subscription. The easiest way is "Withdraw from contract here" in the footer of every page of our platform and webshop, or in your account. During a free trial nothing has been charged yet. Details are in the Terms of Service under "Right of Withdrawal".
Cancellation
A cancellation ends the subscription at the end of the term; until then you can keep using everything. We generally do not refund the remaining term. Exception: consumers whose habitual residence is in Germany may cancel with one month's notice after the first term; we refund amounts already paid for the time after that on a pro rata basis.
QR Plaques
QR plaques are made and personalised for a specific memorial page and are therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal. If a plaque is damaged or defective, we replace it or refund the purchase price. Please write to us at [email protected].
Process and Timing
Refunds go back to the means of payment you used. We initiate them without undue delay, at the latest within 14 days. Depending on your bank, it may then take another 5 to 10 business days for the amount to appear in your account. You receive a credit note by email for every refund.
